Fake Start Menu for Windows 8 or 8.1

I love Microsoft Windows 8.0 & 8.1 and I even love the Metro UI, but I must admit I sometimes miss my Start Menu.  To correct that issue I made my own and you can to. Here is how I did it.

1. Right click on the task bar, mouse up to Toolbars and select NEW.

When it ask you to choose a folder type in the following address location C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs  and click on Select Folder.

The window will go away and now you have your Start Menu of sorts.
